Bishkek, 03.04.26. /Kabar/. Zhogorku Kenesh hosts meeting with the Business and Entrepreneurship Development Council.
According to the parliament's press service, the meeting was attended by deputies led by Speaker Marlen Mamataliev, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, and representatives of the business community.
Mamataliev recalled that this council was created in 2017 with the aim of uniting the business community, improving the investment climate, and supporting entrepreneurship.
"However, over the past three years, the council's activities have been inactive; no meetings have been held." In this regard, a decision was made to intensify its work and strengthen cooperation between entrepreneurs and deputies. I am confident that this meeting will become a platform for discussing important issues and developing concrete proposals, rather than meeting for empty talk," he noted.
The speaker emphasized that the country's leadership is paying special attention to issues related to business support.
Mamataliev highlighted specific problems in the business sector and proposed measures to protect entrepreneurs, reduce administrative pressure, and increase financial support.
"We must continue the President's policy by strengthening the legislative framework and developing and adopting the necessary bills." Thus, in accordance with the proposals and comments received during the Council, we need to develop and adopt a number of bills aimed at improving the investment climate, developing competition, and strengthening production, including processing plants,” he added.
During the meeting, reports on current issues were heard, solutions were discussed, and proposals received.
