Bishkek, June 30, 2026. /Kabar/. Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan adopted a resolution "On Approving a Program to Support and Develop Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs in the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030."

The document approved a program to support and develop small and medium-sized entrepreneurs (SMEs), an action plan for its implementation, a matrix of monitoring and evaluation indicators, and the program budget.

The program's primary goal is to achieve structural changes in the economy by 2030 by increasing added value and the contribution of SMEs to the gross domestic product, increasing employment, expanding export potential, and increasing tax revenues.

The institutional model for implementing the program is based on the principles of coordination, digitalization, and public-private partnership. Key mechanisms include the creation of a Consortium of SME Support Institutions and the introduction of the SME Hub digital platform, which will provide a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs.

The resolution establishes the personal responsibility of heads of government agencies, plenipotentiary representatives of Kyrgyz president in the regions, and heads of local governments for the high-quality and timely implementation of the SME Support and Development Program and the action plan through 2030.
