Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2026. /Kabar/. Representatives of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CEC) of the Kyrgyz Republic are participating in an international seminar on institutional mapping of election management bodies, which is taking place from September 28 to October 1 in India, according to the CEC.
The event, organized by India's International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Management (IIIDEM), is attended by A. Beishembaeva, Director of the Center for Civic Education at the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic, and N. Talgatova, a member of the CEC staff.
The seminar is dedicated to exploring international approaches to the professional development of election management staff, sharing experiences, and identifying institutional needs in this area.
Participants will present the specifics of national electoral systems, examine approaches to professional training, conduct stakeholder mapping, analyze competencies, current training programs, and available resources, and identify gaps and needs for further development.
