Bishkek, Aug 5, 2026. /Kabar/. World Tourism and Travel Council report names Central Asia's tourism industry as fastest growing region. This assessment was made based on the results of 2025.
According to assessment, by the end of 2025, the tourism industry of Central Asia led to a 17.7% growth in the region's economy, amounting to $20.1 billion.
The growth rate was significantly higher than in Northeast and Southwest Asia.
This dynamic is associated with the development of tourism infrastructure and an increase in the number of travelers.
