Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2026 /Kabar/. During a working visit to Changsha, Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev held talks with the leadership of Hunan Construction Investment Group—one of the largest construction groups in Hunan Province, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.
According to the reported, the main topic of the meeting was the development of Bishkek's road infrastructure. The parties discussed the construction and reconstruction of city roads, the building of modern transport interchanges, and the implementation of comprehensive engineering solutions to increase street traffic capacity and reduce traffic congestion.
Aibek Junushaliev proposed that the Chinese company examine the current transport situation in the capital and present specific projects that take into account the growing load on the city's road network. Representatives of Hunan Construction Investment Group shared their experience in implementing major road and infrastructure projects abroad and expressed their readiness to explore potential forms of cooperation with Bishkek.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to establish direct interaction between the company and the relevant departments of the City Hall to work out proposals in detail and move toward the practical implementation of joint projects.
