Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2026. /Kabar/. The musical and choreographic play "Manas" will be performed in Bishkek on August 21-22, featuring the Kyzyl-Suu Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kyrgyz Autonomous Region in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.
The grand opening of the show will take place on August 21 in Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Satylganov.
The event will be attended by Kyrgyz State Secretary A. Koichiev, Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy M. Mambetaliev, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping, as well as representatives of the cultural and public sectors.
The performance, through music, choreography, and theatrical performances, reveals the artistic world of the great Kyrgyz epic poem "Manas."
The event aims to strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, develop creative ties, and promote the spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
The ministry noted that staging the performance with the participation of a Kyrgyz artistic group from China demonstrates shared cultural roots and contributes to the further development of cultural dialogue between the two countries.
Screenings will take place on August 21 and 22, starting at 7:00 PM. Admission is free.
