Bishkek, July 24, 2026. /Kabar/. The Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan will be held in Cholpon-Ata on July 27-28.
As part of the cultural program, a creative delegation from Uzbekistan, comprising approximately 200 representatives of the arts and culture, will arrive in the country. Over the course of two days, residents and guests of Issyk-Kul region will enjoy concert programs featuring renowned artists, music groups, and dance ensembles.
People's Artists of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Farrukh Zakirov, artistic director of the legendary group "Yalla," Kamoliddin Urinbaev, Aigul Nadirova, and Zulaykho Boykhonova will perform on stage.
Audiences will also enjoy performances by the dance ensembles "Navbahor" and "Tumor," and the concert program will feature the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan.
The grand opening of the Days of Culture will take place on July 27 at 6:30 PM at the Rukh Ordo Cultural Center in Cholpon-Ata. The closing ceremony will take place on July 28 at 6:30 PM at the Dordoi Nomad Arena in Bosteri.
The ministry noted that the Days of Culture will be an important event for the development of Kyrgyz-Uzbek cultural and humanitarian cooperation, strengthening the friendship between the peoples of the two countries, expanding creative ties, and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
