Bishkek, July 8, 2026 /Kabar/. From July 6 to 11, the Army hand-to-hand combat championship is being held at the Central Sports Club of the Army in Moscow as part of the 17th Spartakiad among military personnel of friendly armies of the CIS member states.
According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense, approximately 400 military athletes from six Commonwealth countries are participating in the competition, including national teams from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
The Kyrgyz national team for the Spartakiad is comprised of military personnel from military units 52806, 73809, and 10128.
