Bishkek, Dec. 30, 2025. /Kabar/. On December 30, Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted a resolution on re-election for deputies of Jogorku Kenesh in multi-mandate constituency No. 13.
According to CEC, the results of the previously held early elections in this constituency were declared invalid by the commission's resolution of December 3, 2025.
The repeat vote is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026. The decision was made in accordance with Articles 38 and 63 of the Constitutional Law "On the Elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic" and the provisions of the Law "On the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic."
CEC and District Electoral Commission No. 13 have been instructed to organize the preparation and conduct of the elections in accordance with current legislation.
Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to:
- allocate the necessary funds in accordance with the Central Election Commission's expenditure estimate;
- ensure the rule of law, the protection of citizens' rights, and public order during the preparation and conduct of the vote;
- clarify data from the Unified State Population Register to compile accurate voter lists;
- ensure the operation of the online voter identification system and stable communication channels;
- assist the CEC in ensuring the cybersecurity of information systems involved in the electoral process;
- ensure the secure storage of voting and voter identification equipment;
- implement other measures stipulated by election legislation.
The repeat elections will be one of the key stages in completing the 2025–2026 electoral cycle.
