Bishkek, July 29, 2026 /Kabar/. The closing ceremony of the Days of Uzbekistan Culture in Kyrgyzstan took place yesterday at the Dordoi Nomad Ethnic Complex in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.
The gala concert was attended by the Minister of Culture of Kyrgyzstan, Mirbek Mambetaliev, the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, official representatives of the two countries, cultural figures, local residents, and vacationers. The audience enjoyed performances by the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, the Navbahor and Umut dance ensembles, and renowned Uzbek pop singers.
One of the highlights of the evening was the performance by the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov. He performed his famous songs, including in Kyrgyz, earning thunderous applause from the audience.
The concert program demonstrated the cultural affinity between the Kyrgyz and Uzbek peoples, their centuries-old friendship, and fraternal ties. The combination of folk and contemporary works created a festive atmosphere and once again emphasized that culture serves as an important tool for strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan became a significant event, contributing to the strengthening of creative ties, the expansion of cultural exchange, and the further development of friendship between the fraternal peoples.
