Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam to Kyrgyzstan, Nguyen Thanh Le.
According to the foreign ministry, during the meeting, Meder Abakirov congratulated Nguyen Thanh Le on his appointment and expressed confidence that his work will contribute to the further strengthening and deepening of Kyrgyz-Vietnamese relations.
Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Le, presenting copies of his credentials, expressed his readiness to actively promote mutually beneficial cooperation and advance joint initiatives between the two countries.
The parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, including political, trade, and economic cooperation, the implementation of agreements reached, and promising areas for further collaboration.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial dialogue and joint work to further strengthen Kyrgyz-Vietnamese relations.
