Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2025 /Kabar/. The winners of the Digital Farmer Hackathon 2025 innovative solutions competition have been announced. The competition aims to introduce digital and artificial intelligence technologies into the agricultural sector and water resource management systems. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, goal of the event is to develop modern digital tools, improve water resource efficiency, and modernize the country's agro-industrial complex.
Winners:
1st Place – AIU-Team
Project: "AgriVision" is system for early field condition monitoring based on drones and AI.
2nd Place – Tamchy Agro KG
Project: National irrigation water consumption monitoring system.
3rd Place – Akyl Zher
Project: Unified intelligent digital platform for the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan.
The projects presented have high implementation potential and are aimed at improving water use efficiency, digitalization, and sustainable agricultural development. Thirteen teams participated in the hackathon.
The winners received cash prizes and recommendations for further collaboration with the ministry, including the possibility of launching pilot projects. The remaining participants received letters of gratitude.
The ministry notes the high level of the projects presented and expresses its readiness to support initiatives aimed at digital transformation and modernization of the agricultural sector in the Kyrgyz Republic.
