Bishkek, Aug 6, 2026 /Kabar/. The opening of the 13th International Training Course took place in Cholpon-Ata, attended by 13 divers from member countries of the International Civil Defense Organization.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, over the course of 12 days, the participants will improve their professional skills and undergo practical training at the Diving Center in the Issyk-Kul region.

During the official opening, First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Akylbek Mazaripov met with the arriving specialists, wished them success in the upcoming theoretical and practical training, and noted the importance of holding such an event in Issyk-Kul—one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan, where participants can exchange experiences and improve their skills. The goal of the 12-day training is to enhance the divers' professional knowledge, exchange experiences in new areas, and strengthen sustainable ties between representatives of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) member states in the field of diving.

Upon completion of the training, foreign participants will be awarded certificates and a "Diver's Personal Record Book," approved by the 22nd General Assembly of the International Civil Defense Organization.
