Bishkek, July 23, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov met with Alexey Vorobyov, a representative of Wildberries-Russ in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the ministry, the meeting discussed the consequences of the drone attack on Wildberries-Russ logistics facilities located in Elektrostal, Moscow region, and Kotovsk, Tambov region, on the night of July 18, 2026.
The incident also affected Kyrgyz garment industry entrepreneurs whose goods were stored in these warehouses.
Wildberries-Russ representatives reported ongoing damage assessment efforts. The extent of damage to the warehouses is currently being determined, as well as an inventory of the goods in storage, including products manufactured by Kyrgyz entrepreneurs.
Following the completion of the assessment and receipt of relevant information from Wildberries-Russ, as well as the analysis conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyz Republic, additional bilateral meetings are planned to resolve the issues that have arisen and develop joint solutions.
Furthermore, the ministry is gathering information through surveys of domestic garment industry entrepreneurs to determine the preliminary extent of the damage.
At the same time, Wildberries-Russ representatives are working together to conduct an inventory of goods to determine the exact volume of lost products and assess the damage.
