Bishkek, March 13, 2025. /Kabar/. Flights on the Dushanbe-Bishkek-Dushanbe route will be resume starting from tomorrow, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon said in Bishkek.
The decision to open air traffic was another step in the development of bilateral relations between the countries.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Bishkek on Wednesday for a state visit.
As part of the visit, he held talks with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov.
Following the talks, the parties signed an Agreement on the state border between the two countries.
Two checkpoints were also opened on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, which were closed since May 2021 after the border conflict.
