Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2026 /Kabar/. The 3rd International Tourism Exhibition DITE-2026 has opened in Dushanbe today, bringing together tourism industry representatives from Tajikistan and abroad. The three-day event, taking place on September 24-26, will focus on sustainable tourism, digital technologies, gastronomy, and medical and wellness tourism, Asia-Plus reported.
The exhibition is being held at the Dushanbe ExpoCenter and features travel agencies, car rental companies, airlines, IT firms, hotels, hunting tourism representatives, and other industry participants.
Over three days, guests will attend panel discussions, B2B meetings, cooperation agreement signings, and cultural events. Participants will have the opportunity to present their services, hold business negotiations, and establish new partnerships.
Sustainable tourism, AI, and digital technologies
The opening day of DITE-2026 includes the Dushanbe Sustainable Tourism Forum, organized within the framework of the twin cities initiative.
The forum focuses on cooperation between cities, tourism organizations, and international partners, as well as the development of new tourist destinations.
The program also includes discussions on the development of Central Asia as a competitive and interconnected tourism region. Participants will explore how artificial intelligence and digital technologies are transforming tourist destinations, tourism businesses, and travelers’ experiences.
A tourist destination is a territory or point of interest that attracts visitors and has the infrastructure needed to receive and serve tourists.
The first day will also feature B2B meetings and a ceremony for signing cooperation agreements, followed by the official opening of the exhibition.
Gastronomy and women in tourism
September 25 will be dedicated to gastronomic tourism. The program includes meetings of tourism industry representatives, discussions with women developing the tourism sector in Central Asia and other regions, and other thematic events.

A key highlight will be the Central Asian Gastronomic Show, where guests will be introduced to the traditional dishes, history, and culture of the region’s countries. Travel bloggers and influencers will also take part in the event.
Medical tourism and final events
The final day, September 26, will focus on medical and wellness tourism. Representatives of these sectors, as well as influencers and travel bloggers, will participate in discussions on investment opportunities and the future development of the tourism industry.
DITE-2026 will conclude with Dushanbe Tourism Fest 2026 at the open-air venue of the Dushanbe ExpoCenter. The event will feature cultural performances, exhibitions, a souvenir fair, national cuisine, and other activities for visitors.
International guests, tourism representatives, and delegations will also take part in a panoramic tour of Dushanbe on a red tourist bus.
Organizers expect new cooperation agreements to be signed following the exhibition.
The International Tourism Exhibition in Dushanbe has been held since 2024. Over the past two years, it brought together 290 tourism industry representatives, including 85 foreign companies from 18 countries.
