Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament (Zhogorku Kenesh) decided today, on September 25, to dissolve themselves; snap elections will be held on November 30.

Kyrgyz Speaker Nurlanbek stated that the next elections will be held on November 30. We will make every effort to ensure that the elections will be conducted clean and transparently. Rumors are currently circulating that some deputies received bata (blessings) from the President, General, or the Speaker of the Zhogorku Kenesh. I would like to point out that blessings is given only by the people. The current government is pursuing only the goal of holding open and transparent elections, he said.

The Speaker noted that all powers will be retained until the next assembly of the Zhogorku Kenesh, and that in the event of an emergency, he can convene an extraordinary session.
