Bishkek, Oct.19, 2026 /Kabar/. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has raised its forecast for Kyrgyzstan’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth to 11% for the full year 2026.
According to EDB analysts, Kyrgyzstan’s economy grew by 10.8% between January and September 2026. High growth rates are expected to persist through the end of the year.
The review notes that investments increased by 68.5%, retail trade by 15.4%, and the volume of hotel and restaurant services by 8.6%.
"The momentum in fixed capital investment and consumer activity will drive GDP growth to approximately 11% for 2026," the review states.
EDB had previously revised its economic growth forecast for Kyrgyzstan. At the beginning of the year, growth of slightly over 9% was anticipated; the forecast was later raised to 10.2%.
