Bishkek, April 9, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov met with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan Hasan Ali Zaigam.
The Cabinet of Ministers said that during the meeting, Edil Baisalov noted that Pakistan occupies an important place in the foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan, adding that bilateral relations are strengthening every year, and favorable conditions are being created to bring them to a new qualitative level.
In turn, the ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan Hasan Ali Zaigam welcomed the signing of the Agreement on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
The parties also supported the launch of the 500 kV Datka-Sughd line within the framework of the CASA-1000 project. In addition, the interlocutors paid special attention to preparations for the 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, which will be held in the near future in Islamabad.
