The Central Election Commission (CEC) has received registration documents from eight political parties and 20 nomination committees seeking to participate in the Bulgarian presidential elections on October 25, BTA reported.
The parties that have submitted documents are Vazrazhdane, The Right, Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Bulgarian Social Democracy - Euroleft, People's Party Truth and Nothing but Truth, Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh), Velichie, and Bulgarian Agrarian People's Union.
The deadline for registering nomination committees with the CEC is 5 p.m. on September 14. Candidate registration is due to be completed by September 22.
