Bishkek, July 14, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov held a working meeting with representatives of the international consulting firm BCG (Boston Consulting Group).
According to the ministry, BCG was represented at the meeting by Igor Alekseev, Director and Partner, and Andrei Lukyanov, a company representative.
During the meeting, BCG representatives shared the company's international experience in providing consulting services and supporting major projects in the energy sector in various countries.
Particular attention was paid to best global practices in implementing infrastructure projects and improving management efficiency in the energy sector.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in supporting capital projects in the energy sector of country, as well as possible areas of collaboration on industry modernization and the adoption of advanced international approaches.
Altynbek Rysbekov emphasized that energy is a key priority of state policy.
"Today, Kyrgyzstan is implementing a range of large-scale measures to modernize energy infrastructure, build new generating capacity, develop the grid, and improve the reliability of energy supply. It is important for us to study and apply best international practices that facilitate the effective implementation of strategic projects," the minister noted.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further developing dialogue and considering possible forms of cooperation to implement priority projects in the energy sector of Kyrgyz Republic.
