Bishkek, July 8, 2026 /Kabar/. As part of Open Cabinet: Area of ​​Responsibility project, Kyrgyz Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov's workday began today with interview on Birinchi Radio. During the broadcast, he discussed new energy projects and sustainable development areas.

Then, in the central control room, in the presence of journalists, the minister was briefed on the current situation in the country's energy system.

It should be noted that the minister's workday begins each day at the central control room with the receipt of operational data on the energy situation in the republic for the previous day. Overall, the country's energy situation remains stable.

The minister emphasized that, compared to previous years, electricity consumption during the summer is increasing. He cited the increased use of air conditioners due to the hot weather as one of the main reasons for this.

Furthermore, it was noted that this control center allows for online monitoring of electricity production volumes in the country.
