Issyk-Kul, Aug 2, 2026. /Kabar/. The Formula 1 On Water World Championship round concluded in Issyk-Kul. It ran from July 31 to August 2, marking the first time the event was held in Central Asia. This large-scale international competition brought together top pilots, teams, and thousands of spectators, becoming one of the most exciting sporting events of the season.

Over the course of three days, athletes demonstrated exceptional skill, speed, and spectacular competition on the water. Following the final races, pilot Shaun Torrente won the Grand Prix, having confidently completed the race and climbed to the top step of the podium.

Hosting a World Championship round on Issyk-Kul lake was a historic event for the region.
