Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2026. /Kabar/. Farmers and agricultural producers in Kyrgyzstan are now able to receive preferential loans at 2% per annum to implement drip irrigation and other modern water-saving technologies.
The project to introduce water-saving technologies in agriculture is being implemented jointly with the support of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Financial Holding Company.
200 million soms have been allocated for funding this project.
Loans are provided for terms of up to 7 years, with a grace period of up to 1 year.
Farmers and agricultural producers, as well as individuals and legal entities, are eligible to receive loans in accordance with established requirements.
