A delegation led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino has arrived in Uzbekistan for a two-day official visit, UzA reported.
The Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov and Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), welcomed the FIFA delegation upon its arrival.
During the visit, Gianni Infantino will learn about Uzbekistan’s efforts to develop football. The parties will discuss projects to develop football infrastructure, promote the sport and support young talent.
The discussions will also cover the development of Uzbek football and the strengthening of international cooperation. The FIFA delegation will visit several key sports facilities and review ongoing projects in the country, the Uzbekistan Football Association reports.
