Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili.
As reported by the department, the meeting of the parties took place within the framework of the High-level segment of the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council.
Kulubaev invited his Georgian counterpart to visit Kyrgyzstan and informed about Kyrgyzstan's major international initiatives, including the XI World Nomad Games and the II Global Mountain Summit. The head of the Georgian delegation expressed interest in these events and said that the invitations would be carefully considered.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the traditional Kyrgyz-Georgian friendly relations and noted the importance of maintaining a stable political dialogue, as well as organizing mutual visits at the highest levels.
The prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation and the work of the Kyrgyz-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission, as well as issues of interaction in multilateral structures such as the UN, were discussed.
The meeting confirmed mutual interest in further deepening bilateral partnership in all areas.
