Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025 /Kabar/. Comparative monitoring of food prices was conducted in Kyrgyzstan, as well as in neighboring countries, Russia and Kazakhstan, Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reports.
According to the agency, the following changes were recorded as a result of monitoring:
Prices in Kyrgyzstan:
pasta (spaghetti) increased by 3.1%,
onions by 2.8%,
potatoes by 1.5%,
bread made from first-grade wheat flour by 1.5%,
first-grade wheat flour (local) by 1.3%,
eggs by 1.2%,
butter (unsalted, at least 72%, no additives and no vegetable fats) by 0.9%,
pasta product by 0.7%,
bakery products (tandoor bread) by 0.7%,
refined sunflower oil by 0.3%,
pasteurized milk with fat of 2.5–3.2% increased by 0.1%,
grade 1 wheat flour (imported) by 0.1%.
At the same time, carrot prices decreased by 6.2%, rice by 0.2%, and sugar by 0.2%.
Prices in Kazakhstan:
Potato prices increased by 1.2%,
carrot prices by 3.8%,
beef prices by 3.8%,
while granulated sugar prices decreased by 6.1%.
Prices in Russia:
Primary wheat bread increased in price by 11.5%,
onions by 3.2%,
beef by 3.1%,
butter (unsalted, at least 72%, no additives or vegetable oils) by 2.8%,
refined sunflower oil by 2.7%,
first-grade wheat flour (local) by 2.5%,
carrots by 2.3%,
potatoes by 2.4%,
eggs by 2.2%,
pasta by 3%,
lamb by 2%,
rice by 1.8%,
granulated sugar by 1.8%.
