Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the meeting, the parties discussed developing cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia, as well as the importance of high-level visits for further strengthening bilateral relations.

It is noted that the documents signed during Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's visit to Kyrgyzstan create an important foundation for expanding and deepening the partnership between the two countries in various areas.

Special attention was paid to security cooperation at both the bilateral and regional levels. The parties emphasized the importance of further developing practical interaction and exchanging experience on issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation between the relevant government agencies of the two countries in ensuring security and stability, as well as in countering modern challenges and threats, was also noted.

The meeting marked another step in strengthening Kyrgyz-Georgian cooperation and developing a constructive dialogue between the two countries.
