Bishkek, March 30, 2026. /Kabar/. The annual financial literacy information and educational campaign "Global Money Week 2026" starts today, March 30 in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the National Bank, the campaign will be held under the motto "Smart Money – Wealth in the Home". The relevance of this motto stems from the need to comprehensively improve the financial literacy of the population – from developing spending and investment skills to learning how to protect against fraud and access reliable information about financial instruments.

As part of the event, various activities will be held across all regions of the country from March 30 to April 3, in collaboration with government agencies, commercial banks, financial companies, and educational institutions. These activities include open lessons, educational seminars/lectures, open days and tours of commercial banks, interactive games/competitions, and quizzes.

The events will provide information on financial security, developing money management skills, and making smart financial decisions.

The event plan is available on the National Bank's official website www.nbkr.kg and on www.finsabat.kg.

For reference: Global Money Week (GMW) is an annual, large-scale campaign held since 2012 in 176 countries.
