Bishkek, July 30, 2026 /Kabar/. Cholpon-Ata city to host informal consultative meeting of the heads of Azerbaijan and Central Asian states in Issyk-Kul region, from July 30 to August 1.
The meeting will be attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The heads of states will discuss issues of strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, energy, tourism, expanding transport corridors, and developing cultural and humanitarian ties in the region.
They will also exchange views on current issues of regional security and interaction within international organizations.
