Healthcare funding in Kyrgyzstan doubled in four years

Bishkek, May 22, 2026. /Kabar/. In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has been pursuing active policy of reforming and supporting the healthcare sector. Deputy Chairman Ulan Mamatkanov announced at international symposium on organ transplantation and donation in Bishkek.

According to Mamatkanov, while the national healthcare budget in 2021 was 21.5 billion soms, by 2025 this figure had more than doubled, reaching 52 billion soms.
