Bishkek, July 13, 2026. /Kabar/. Due to rising temperatures from July 14 to 18, water levels are expected to rise on Kyrgyzstan's rivers.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the hot weather will intensify the melting of snow and glaciers in the mountains, which could lead to increased water levels in some rivers.

"Therefore, there is a risk of flooding in certain areas," the statement says.
