Highest-paying sectors in Kyrgyzstan, Ministry of Labor reveals data

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2026 /Kabar/. Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic reported average wages by economic sector.

The ministry cited data from the National Statistical Committee, according to which the highest average wages are recorded in the financial sector – 67,121 soms. Industry is almost at the same level, with an average wage of 66,990 soms.

In transportation, workers earn an average of 58,657 soms, and in construction – 57,472 soms. The average wage in trade is 47,125 soms, and in agriculture – 33,462 soms.

Incomes in the service sector remain below the national average at 29,679 soms, healthcare and social services at 28,082 soms, and education at 27,054 soms. The lowest average salary was recorded in the cultural sector at 24,861 soms.

Kyrgyz Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reminded that citizens can obtain detailed information about vacancies and employment opportunities from their local employment services.
