Irfan Karstov, a representative of Lotus News news agency from Istanbul, Turkiye, praised the importance of the international media forum for media outlets and think tanks from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, emphasizing its role in developing cooperation between media outlets.
According to him, the forum is an important platform for international media and for strengthening interaction within the framework of the China-Central Asia Cooperation Initiative.
He expressed hope that such meetings will contribute to strengthening professional ties between journalists and media organizations from different countries.
As a reminder, the first-ever forum of media outlets and think tanks from SCO member states is being held in Bishkek today. It is being organized by the Kyrgyz National News Agency "Kabar" and the Chinese News Agency "Xinhua."
