Bishkek, July 9, 2026 /Kabar/. The national seminar-meeting titled "35 Years of Local Self-Government – Unguzhol (Root Path) Community Initiatives and Development Prospects" is taking place in Issyk-Kul rural area of Tyup district.
Within the framework of the event, participants are learning about the local self-government experience of Issyk-Kul rural area, visiting exhibitions of folk arts and crafts, cultural values, agricultural and municipal machinery, as well as infrastructure projects.
Additionally, the "Akyl Maidan" intellectual project is being held among the seminar participants under the decree of Kyrgyz president "National Spirit – Global Heights."
The official part of the event is attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ulan Mamatkanov, Director of the Agency Elchibek Dzhantaev, Issyk-Kul region governor Bakytbek Zhetigenov, and other representatives of state bodies.
During the seminar-meeting, issues of local self-government development, initiatives of local communities, best practices, and promising areas for regional development are being discussed
