Japan donates medical equipment to Osh Clinical Hospital

Bishkek, July 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Japanese government hands over modern medical equipment to Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital. The total value of the donated equipment was 10 million som.

According to Osh oblast administration, Deputy governor Talantbek Arstankulov, Japanese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hirano Ryutchi, and Second Secretary of the Embassy Tanimoto Tatsuya attended the event.

The equipment was donated as part of the "Improving the Medical Environment at the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital" project, implemented under the "Grass Roots and Human Safety" grant program.

The hospital received two modern medical devices: an endoscopic stand for transurethral resection and an ultrasound dissector designed for the treatment of proctological diseases.

The new equipment is expected to significantly improve the quality of medical care and reduce patient treatment time by almost half.
