Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2026. /Kabar/. Committee on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy, architecture, and construction approved the draft law "on the Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, signed on July 28, 2025, in Moscow" in its first reading.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov reported that the protocol on amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union was developed based on the work of the joint working group on improving the provisions of the Treaty on the EAEU and contains 33 amendments. The amendments are aimed at eliminating gaps in legal regulation identified during law enforcement practice and clarifying the definitions used in the Treaty on the Union.
