New Delhi, Dec. 10, 2025. / Kabar /. A group of 21 journalists from Central Asia, including representatives from Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, have arrived in New Delhi for a familiarization visit organized by India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), External Publicity & Public Diplomacy Division.
The visit, taking place from 9 to 18 December 2025, aims to deepen India–Central Asia media cooperation, introduce journalists to India’s political, technological, cultural and economic landscape, and strengthen long-term professional engagement.
The familiarization visit reflects India’s ongoing commitment to expanding engagement with Central Asian nations across media, public diplomacy, culture and technology. Through direct interactions with government institutions, think tanks, industry leaders and cultural centers, the programme aims to broaden journalists’ understanding of India’s development and strengthen regional partnerships.
