Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2026 /Kabar/. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, called for ensuring the uninterrupted construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, the Cabinet of Ministers' press service reported.
He made this statement during a meeting with Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Kyrgyzstan had given fresh impetus to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
"Following the recent successful state visit of the esteemed Xi Jinping to Kyrgyzstan, we must ensure the practical implementation of the agreements reached between our countries' leaders and translate them into concrete projects. Our flagship project is, of course, the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway. We need to ensure the uninterrupted construction of this line," he said.
The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers also noted the active progress on the construction of the Barskoon–Bedel–Uchturfan–Aksu highway and the commencement of infrastructure construction for the new Bedel border crossing point.
During the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev congratulated Li Qiang on the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and the upcoming 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, conveying warm greetings and best wishes from President Sadyr Zhaparov.
