Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, participated in the opening ceremony of the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou during his working visit to China.
In his address, the head of the Cabinet noted that digital trade is no longer merely another segment of global trade; it is becoming a new infrastructure for the global economy.
He stated that Kyrgyzstan welcomes China's initiative to establish a World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization.
"It is particularly important to us that Kyrgyzstan has become one of the founding members of this new international body. We want artificial intelligence to foster development, bridge the digital divide, and create new opportunities for all nations. Kyrgyzstan is ready to actively participate in this endeavor," he said.
In his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev outlined several areas for cooperation with interested parties regarding digital trade. Specifically, he highlighted opportunities in e-commerce, digital logistics—including digital support for the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project—digital payments, the implementation of AI solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the joint development of data centers, technology transfer centers, and specialist training programs.
"We are a landlocked country, but in the digital world, distance is no obstacle. Kyrgyzstan is open to investment and technological partnerships. Artificial intelligence and digital trade are transforming the world rapidly. Our task is to harness them for the benefit of our peoples," the head of the Cabinet said in conclusion.
