Bishkek, April 25, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was held at the Kyrgyz Football Union on April 24.
The KFU reported that the main topic of the event was bilateral cooperation in the field of sports medicine, protecting the health of football players and supporting youth sports in Kyrgyzstan.
The bilateral meeting was attended by Secretary General of the KFU Mederbek Sydykov, Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Kaarmanbek Baidavletov, Member of the Zhogorku Kenesh Taalaibek Masabirov, Deputy Chief Physician of the SRC for Sports Medicine, Chief Physician of the National Teams Baktykul Alisheva, Head of the Department of the USPiRP of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Bek Nogoibaev, as well as JICA Permanent Representatives in the Kyrgyz Republic Hiroyuki Kawamoto and Kotaro Nishigata and other JICA representatives.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of medical support for athletes, especially young football players. The focus was on injury prevention, healthy nutrition, rehabilitation and the introduction of modern medical technologies into sports practice.
Particular attention was also paid to the activities of Japanese volunteers working in the KFU. In particular, their contribution to the development of training coaches and players and the organization of educational events was discussed.
In addition, JICA volunteers presented a presentation in which they showed plans to support athletes.
