Bishkek, June 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Vice President of Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) Dastanbek Konokbaev and KFU Secretary General Mederbek Sydykov are participating in the 2026 FIFA Executive Football Summits, which is taking place in Miami.
According to the KFU press service, the FIFA Executive Football Summits bring together global football leaders, providing an opportunity for high-level discussions on key issues of development, governance, and the future of football.
This event also facilitates the exchange of opinions, experiences, and knowledge between representatives of the football community and aims to further strengthen mutual cooperation.
During the three-day summit, participants will gain a detailed understanding of the FIFA Forward program, which is aimed at developing football. They will also learn about the experience of DAZN, a global leader in sports broadcasting, in digital development in football, and learn about the successful management models and innovative ideas of the NBA league. Summit participants will also attend the opening match of the World Cup and several group stage games.
The summit is organized by FIFA in the lead-up to the 2026 World Cup and provides representatives of the international football community with an important opportunity to expand cooperation and discuss new initiatives.
