Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Construction of a modern perinatal center continues in Osh on the grounds of the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital.

According to the Ministry of Health, the project is being implemented as part of the maternal and child health program and is financed by the German development bank KfW under a grant agreement totaling €13.5 million.

During a working visit to the Osh region, First Deputy Minister of Health Tilek Mamadaliev visited the construction site and reviewed the progress of work.

Representatives of the German development bank KfW, the consulting company, and the contractor China Road briefed him on the current stage of construction.

Currently, the construction is 10% complete. Construction and installation work is proceeding according to the approved schedule. Between 30 and 70 specialists are working on the site daily.
