Issyk-Kul, Sept. 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Kok boru competitions are currently being held at the equestrian arena in Cholpon-Ata as part of the VI World Nomad Games.
According to the competition program, the teams will compete in the following order:
- 15:00 — Uzbekistan - Russia;
- 16:05 — Kyrgyzstan - USA;
- 17:10 — Tajikistan - Hungary.
It is worth noting that kok boru is one of the main sports disciplines of the VI World Nomad Games.
VI World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony took place on August 31 at the Bishkek Arena stadium in the capital. The games will be held in the Issyk-Kul region from September 1 to 6, and more than 3,000 athletes from 109 countries will participate.
