Bishkek, Jan. 26, 2026 /Kabar/. Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Bishkek between the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Korea Rural Community Development Corporation (KRC).

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the agreement aims to introduce advanced Korean technologies in water and land resource management, modernization of irrigation systems, development of rural infrastructure, and implementation of "smart village" projects.

It is noted that this cooperation is in line with the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026 and creates the basis for attracting investment and official development assistance (ODA) from the Republic of Korea.
