KRSU renovated school opens in Bishkek

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2025./Kabar/. On November 26, the renovated building of the secondary comprehensive school at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University opened in Bishkek, the press service of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation reports.

The major renovation and modernization of the facility was carried out as part of the Development Program funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by Aibek Chotonov, First Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic; Sergey Volkov, a representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; and KRSU Rector; along with the school's teachers and students.

Addressing the ceremony participants, Aibek Chotonov emphasized that the KRSU school has been one of the flagships of school education in Kyrgyzstan for almost three decades. He noted that for many years, the school's students have demonstrated high results in national testing, won national and international competitions, and represented the country with dignity.

"The opening of the renovated building is not simply the completion of renovations, but important investment in the future of our children and the country's intellectual potential," Chotonov said. He expressed gratitude to the teaching staff for their high professionalism, dedication, and contribution to strengthening the academic traditions of KRSU.

As part of the ceremony, KRSU teachers were awarded departmental awards from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
