Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2025. /Kabar/. Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, attended the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Gabala, Azerbaijan.
The meeting was held ahead of the summit of the OTS heads of state, the main theme of which was "Regional Peace and Security." The heads of foreign affairs agencies of member states, observer countries, and Turkic cooperation organizations exchanged views on pressing issues of ensuring stability, peace, and sustainable development in the Turkic region, as well as institutional strengthening of the OTS.
In his address, Jeenbek Kulubaev summarized the Kyrgyz Republic's chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States, highlighting the key achievements and initiatives implemented during Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship. He expressed gratitude to the participating countries for their active support and emphasized Kyrgyzstan's commitment to further deepening cooperation within the Organization.
Following the meeting, the foreign ministers approved documents that will be submitted for signature to the Council of Heads of State. These include the Gabala Declaration, which reflects the common approaches and agreed positions of the OTS member states on key issues on the regional and international agenda.
