Bishkek, Sept. 27, 2026 /Kabar/. On September 25, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev participated in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to the ministry, the foreign ministers exchanged views on pressing issues on the OTS agenda during the meeting. Particular attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming 13th summit of the organization's heads of state.
In his remarks, the minister reiterated his gratitude to all OTS member states for supporting the Kyrgyz Republic's candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the 2027–2028 term.
Following the informal meeting, the ministers adopted a statement from the OTS Council of Foreign Ministers.
