Bishkek, July 13, 2026. /Kabar/. Manaschy (teller of Manas epic) of Kyrgyz National Theater "Manas," Honored Artist of Kyrgyzstan Samat Kochorbaev, and the Uraan ensemble successfully represented Kyrgyzstan at the International Festival of Sacred Music (FIMS) (Festival International de Musiques Sacrées), which took place in Fribourg, Switzerland.
According to Kyrgyz Manas National Theater, during the festival, the artists presented traditional Kyrgyz music, the art of manaschy, and national culture to audiences. The performances by the Kyrgyz performers generated great interest among the audience, and the rich spiritual heritage of Kyrgyz people was highly praised by international audience.
The theater noted that participation in the festival also contributed to the strengthening of cultural ties with creative groups from various countries, the exchange of professional experience, and the expansion of opportunities for further international collaboration.
