Bishkek, July 1, 2026 /Kabar/. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Head of the Presidential Administration, chaired the first meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and hosting of the Second Global Mountain Summit "Bishkek+25," which will take place in the capital on October 21–23, 2027.
Opening the meeting, the chairman emphasized the strategic importance of the upcoming forum for Kyrgyzstan. He stated that the event must be organized at the highest level, as it aims to shape the global mountain agenda and ensure the sustainable development of mountain regions.
"The Second Global Mountain Summit "Bishkek+25" is a major international event of global significance, held at the initiative of Kyrgyzstan. Our goal is not only to demonstrate the country's organizational capabilities but also to once again confirm Kyrgyzstan's status as a state capable of promoting and advocating for global initiatives," said Adylbek Kasymaliev.
During the meeting, members of the organizing committee reviewed the progress of preparatory work in detail and made a number of decisions necessary to move on to the practical stage of organizing the summit. The chairman emphasized that the time remaining before the event is short, and every day requires the utmost concentration.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the heads of government agencies serving on the organizing committee bear personal responsibility for the high-quality and timely completion of their assigned tasks. The chairman demanded strict adherence to the preparation schedule, noting that organizing a forum of this caliber directly impacts the country's international standing and the success of promoting national interests on the global stage.
